Sunday Church Services
Sunday church services consist of a sermon read from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, the singing of hymns, a solo and praying the Lord’s Prayer together.
Wednesday Testimony Meetings
Wednesday testimony meetings include readings from the Bible and Science and Health on topics of relevance to the community, testimonies of healing through Christian Science, and remarks and inspiration spontaneously shared by people in the congregation to express their gratitude.
Sunday School
Christian Science churches and societies have Sunday Schools for children up to the age of 20. Children are taught the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and the Lord’s Prayer as their first lessons. Older classes discuss issues relevant to young people. All classes teach students of God’s great love for them, and how they can apply the teachings of Christian Science to bring healing and protection into their lives.
Child Care
All churches provide loving care for children too young for Sunday School.
